Algeria

1 . Time of observation: Before sunset .Photographed: ICOP member Eng. Ali Cherrad from عين فكرون City in أم البواقي State mentioned that the sky was partly cloudy, the atmospheric condition was clear, the crescent was not seen by naked eye, the crescent was not sought by binocular, the crescent was not sought by telescope, the crescent was seen by CCD Imaging
Eng.
Stellerium mobile ..

I arrived at my sighting location well before sunset (apparent sunset: 8:08 pm EDT). The western horizon was partly cloudy and very hazy. On occasions and mainly after the apparent sunset, using a pair of binoculars (7X50), I scanned the horizon. My first binocular sighting of the moon was at 8:30 pm. After 13 minutes, I was able to sight the moon with naked eyes. The horns were approximately at 3:00 and 7:00 O'clock (3:00;5:00;7:00). At 8:58 pm, the crescent was behind a piece of cloud hugging the distant mountains (moonset: 9:20 pm). While in Abingdon, my friends in two groups of one and three also sighted the moon with naked eyes and photographed it in Blacksburg. Three bystanders also sighted the moon along with the latter group. The first sighting in Blacksburg was at 8:41 pm."
