The Hilal (Crescent Moon) of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1424AH was easily visible. Because of the haze,
which was upto about 6 degrees above the horizon, the twilight sky was quite bright
and I had to wait for nearly 20 minutes after sunset to sight the ~37 hour old Hilal
at an elongation of ~16 degrees.
