While on the next day (Monday 13 May), the program Moon Calculator by Dr. Monzur Ahmed -according to Yallop criterion- showed that Inshalla the crescent should be seen using optical aid from the extrene eastern parts of the world, while it should be seen by naked eyes from most parts of the world. The crescent only can be seen for less than one minute and disappear behind the cloud until it set. The month of Rabiul Awal starts 14/5/2002."

  • Singapore: Mr. Firdaus Yahya said: "First Crescent was claimed to be seen by another observer for several seconds in cirrostratus clouds, which was between heap of cumulus clouds and cirrus clouds.
