Revising and improve the crescent visibility criteria on the basis of new developments related to crescent observations and studies.
Supervising scientific discussions and following up on the new scientific studies concerning crescents, calendars, times and Qibla along with all that serves the Project objectives.
Extending scientific advice to all Project staff.
Assuming scientific responsibility for items published on the Project website.
Performing scientific censorship of items published in the Project’s name within the different congregations.
Providing scientific supervision of conferences.
Preparing the annual report on the “State of the Islamic Umma (i.e. Nation) Astronomically”.
