When To Observe

The geocentric new Moon will occur Inshallah on (Tuesday 08 February 2005), at 22:28 UT. On this day the program Moon Calculator by Dr. Monzur Ahmed -according to Yallop criterion- showed that it is not possible to see the crescent from any where in the world.

According to the actual sighting of the crescent, the start of Muharram should be on Thursday 10 February 2005 from most countries of the world.
